DREAM

I've been thinking about my dream these days.
最近、夢について考える

One of them is
"To take a journey all around the world with my wife."
一番の夢は
【妻といろんな世界を旅すること】
だけれど

and another one has got more specific while I keep asking myself questions about what I can do in this world.
自分にはなにができるだろう？と探究している中で
最近別の夢がほんの少しだけ具体的になった

The questionnaire in which I asked pupils to reflect themselves and my classes this year made the chance that I can find it;
きっかけは、学年末にとった授業アンケート

Some of them said
"I was able to improve not only English ability but also communicative competence."
"先生の授業は「英語」以上で、「コミュニケーション」を学べた授業だった"
と書いてくれた子が何人かいた

When I read it, I realized that
あ、そうか、と思った

I'd been dreaming I would like to contribute to make a society where Japanese people can use English confidently. But now, I think I want to design a society where Japanese people can collaboratively enjoy communicating confidently.
今まではぼんやりと
【日本人が胸を張って英語を使えるような世の中に】なればなぁ
と夢見てたけど
今は
【日本人が胸を張ってコミュニケーションを愉しめる世の中をデザインしたい】なぁ
と夢見ている

It's still a "dream", so I just dream it so that I can seize the day.
まだまだ夢なので
妄想して今を濃厚にする以上のものではないけれど

What I have to do as a teacher now is that to engage, stimulate, provoke and cultivate students so that they can improve themselves to be a Language communicator, a Lifelong learner and a Day savourer,
まずは目の前の生徒を
Language Communicator
Lifelong Learner
Day Savourer
へと"育んで"いく

collaborating with a variety of people,
そして同時に色んな人と繋がっていく

because we never know we come to know that we cannot do something in this world.
いつなにができなくなるかわからない世の中だから

I want to seize the day with friends and family, loving and smiling and dreaming the future.
友と家族と共に、今を生きよう
愛して、笑って、夢をみながら
